Relationship Expert Tells People To Never Get Married Unless You're Willing To Do 3 Things

Recognizing that a long term relationship requires a lot of hard work and is probably one of the hardest paths to follow in life, this author feels that after studying couples there are three things that people can consistently do to make a marriage work. 

The author touches on how childhood trauma often comes into play and may impact a relationship.  As experienced adults, we recognize that everyone has problems or had problems in their life.  Childhood trauma is definitely significant and can cause major problems within a relationship. 

Most important is to really take the time to get to know one another before moving into a full-time relationship; to recognize and embrace that as people we grow and change...recognize you will face conflict with each other and the world and that it is best to work through that with one another.
